SoftBank Group secures $40 billion bridge loan.

On March 27th local time, SoftBank Group announced that it has obtained a $40 billion bridge loan to increase investment in OpenAI and for general corporate purposes. The company had previously agreed to invest $30 billion in OpenAI through the Vision Fund 2. The company stated that this bridge loan is unsecured and has a maturity date of March 2027, arranged by loan providers including J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Mizuho Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Bank, and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank.
