Grushko emphasized the need to take measures to ensure energy supply security in the Black Sea region. According to a statement on the Russian Foreign Ministry's website on the 27th, Russia and Turkey discussed the security situation in the Black Sea region during the meeting. Russia pointed out that the Ukrainian armed forces have been carrying out continuous airstrikes on a natural gas compressor station located in the Krasnodar region, causing serious damage to the operations of the "Blue Stream" and "Turkish Stream" gas pipelines. Bilgic expressed concern about a recent attack on a Turkish oil tanker in the Black Sea waters near Turkish territorial waters.
