The head of Meta's content policy, Bic Kett, has resigned and will be teaching at Harvard University.
Monica Bickert, who has long served as the head of content policy at Meta, is set to resign and move to Harvard Law School for a new role. She was responsible for developing and implementing Facebook's content policy, as well as making decisions related to user safety issues. According to an internal announcement seen by Reuters on Friday, Bickert expressed her intention to pursue teaching. She will work at Meta until August of this year and will work alongside Kevin Martin, who is responsible for the global policy team, to facilitate the transition. As the head of content policy, Bickert often acted as the company's spokesperson during periods of controversy surrounding political content handling and adolescent mental health at Meta.
