The journalist learned exclusively from relevant sources on March 27 that the life insurance industry has reached a consensus on lowering the demonstration interest rate for dividend insurance to 3.5%, in order to prevent sales misrepresentation and risk of interest rate differential. The 2025 annual reports recently disclosed by listed insurance companies show that life insurance companies are focusing on increasing dividend insurance in 2025, with the proportion of dividend insurance business significantly increasing, and they generally express their intention to iterate products and optimize product structures. However, journalists have learned from industry insiders that, due to some life insurance companies encountering implicit "redemption stress" and sales misrepresentation issues in the process of developing dividend insurance business, they have started proactively lowering dividend insurance.
