Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC): As of the week ending March 24, speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury bond futures by 155,512 contracts to 1,638,179 contracts, while reducing their net short positions in 5-year Treasury bond futures by 325,016 contracts to 1,448,436 contracts. Net short positions in 10-year Treasury bond futures increased by 44,009 contracts to 641,887 contracts, and net short positions in ultra-long-term Treasury bond futures increased by 8,050 contracts to 279,187 contracts.
