Netflix is raising its prices again, with the basic package increasing to $8.99 per month.
Netflix quietly raised its prices again. The streaming giant confirmed in an email that its lowest, ad-supported basic subscription package will increase from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. The ad-free standard package will also go up by $2, from $17.99 to $19.99 per month; and the premium package will also see a $2 increase, with the monthly fee adjusting to $26.99. Additionally, the cost of adding extra users outside the household has changed. The fee for extra users on the ad-supported package has decreased from $7.99 to $6.99, while the fee for extra users on the ad-free package has increased from $8.99 to $9.99.
