Tianjin's fifth comprehensive bonded zone officially closed for operation.

On March 27th at 11 o'clock, the Tianjin Lingang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the fifth comprehensive bonded zone in Tianjin, officially closed for operation. Under the supervision of Tianjin Lingang Customs, the first bonded business transaction in this latest comprehensive bonded zone of Tianjin was successfully completed as two transport vehicles carrying vibrating screens passed through the checkpoint and entered the Lingang Comprehensive Bonded Zone. Tianjin Lingang Comprehensive Bonded Zone was established in June 2023 with the approval of the State Council and passed acceptance in August 2025. With a planned area of 5.56 square kilometers, it has the advantage of being located near the port and the sea, with a solid foundation in high-end manufacturing industries such as marine engineering equipment and shipbuilding. It is a customs special supervision area with a focus on marine economy in Tianjin, and will prioritize the development of industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing and large-scale engineering machinery. The official operation of the Lingang Comprehensive Bonded Zone further enriches Tianjin's layout of open platforms, strengthens port opening functions, and provides powerful support for serving the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, nurturing new productive forces, and advancing trade quality and efficiency.
