On March 27, at the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia in 2026, Brian Pesci, CEO of the International Capital Market Association, said in an interview with the Securities Times that investors from the Middle East, large sovereign wealth funds, and some other institutions have shown a strong interest in the Chinese market. In Brian Pesci's view, currently in the international market, investors hope to diversify their investment risks from some more traditional asset classes, especially for central banks and sovereign wealth funds of various countries, they want to reduce their allocation to assets such as US Treasury bonds. The Chinese government bond market will undoubtedly benefit from this trend.
