China and Nigeria signed a framework agreement for the development of economic partnership relations.

On March 26th, China and Nigeria signed the "Framework Agreement on Economic Partnership and Cooperation between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Federal Republic of Nigeria." This is the framework agreement that China has signed with the 34th African country. The "Framework Agreement" stipulates that both parties will jointly promote the development of Nigeria's national manufacturing industry and agriculture transformation and upgrading, improve global market competitiveness, help it better integrate into the global economy, and negotiate on liberalization and facilitation of goods and services trade, strengthen cooperation in green development, investment, digital trade, and other areas.
