Ontario province is expecting a budget deficit of $138 billion for the fiscal year 2026-2027, higher than the projected deficit of $123 billion for the fiscal year 2025-2026. The net debt-to-GDP ratio for the fiscal year 2026-2027 is expected to increase to 37.7%, compared to an estimated value of 36.8% for the current fiscal year.
