According to sources familiar with the matter, Apple is preparing to make this change as part of a comprehensive upgrade to Siri in the upcoming iOS 27 operating system update. Through collaboration with OpenAI, Siri can already access ChatGPT, but Apple will now also allow access to other competitive products. These changes are part of Apple's attempt to reverse its decline in the field of artificial intelligence. Apple has always lagged behind its Silicon Valley peers in this field. Giving a fresh look to Siri, which was first launched nearly 15 years ago, is the core of this turnaround plan. Sources say that Apple is developing new tools to integrate AI chatbot applications installed through the App Store with Siri.
