Air China: Holding subsidiary intends to lease 10 Boeing aircraft for 2.88 billion yuan
Air China announced that its holding subsidiary, Shandong Airlines, plans to introduce 10 Boeing 737 series aircraft from four companies including CCB Financial Leasing Corporation Ltd. through operational leasing, with delivery scheduled in batches from 2026 to 2027. The rent during the lease term is approximately 2.88 billion yuan, to be paid in monthly or quarterly installments. Shandong Airlines will use its own funds to pay for the aircraft, with no significant impact on cash flow and business operations expected. This transaction will supplement capacity, stabilize the fleet size, and enhance competitiveness. The transaction has been approved by the company's board of directors.
