Report: Key report to be released soon, cautious trading in live hog futures.

Before the US Department of Agriculture released its quarterly "Hogs and Pigs Report," lean hog futures remained flat. StoneX said in a report: "The lean hog market has been eager for some new fundamental news, and new information is finally expected later this afternoon." The company predicted a small decrease in the total inventory of pigs. Other analysts indicated that a key focus of the report will be whether the USDA will revise its estimates from previous quarters. Live cattle futures fell by 0.3%.
