The Yangtze River Chizhou Section River Regulation Project has officially started.

Reporters learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that today, as one of the 150 major water conservancy projects in the country, the Chishui section of the Yangtze River in Chizhou officially started. It covers Chizhou City's Guichi District, Dongzhi County, and Zongyang County in Tongling City, with a total length of 162 kilometers. After implementation, it will effectively enhance the flood control capacity of the Anhui section of the Yangtze River main stream, providing water safety guarantees for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
