Hang Seng Index: Optimize the disclosure of the requirements for the Hang Seng Technology Index theme.

Announcement of Hang Seng Index: According to its index calculation method, the constituent stocks eligible for inclusion in the Hang Seng Technology Index must have businesses highly related to any of the following six major technology themes: including i) internet; ii) financial technology; iii) cloud; iv) e-commerce; v) digital; or vi) smart technology. In order to optimize the disclosure and transparency of the above technology theme requirements, the index calculation method of the Hang Seng Technology Index has added relevant technology sub-themes under each technology theme to clearly define the scope of each technology theme. The calculation method of the Hang Seng Technology Index remains unchanged.
