Liu Qing, deputy director of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Department of the National Health Commission, introduced that yesterday, our country announced the inclusion of kyasanur forest disease and fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome into Class B infectious diseases for management. The main considerations for this adjustment work are twofold: first, to strengthen prevention and response to epidemic risks; second, to promote more scientific and standardized prevention and control work.
