US storage concept stocks weakened before the market opened, with SanDisk falling more than 6% and announcing the acquisition of 1.39 billion shares of South Asia Technology for $1 billion, increasing their layout in DRAM. Micron Technology also fell nearly 3% and announced a full cash tender offer for some of its outstanding senior notes.
