President Trump plans to appoint several top business figures to join a technology committee, providing consulting and advice on artificial intelligence policies and other matters. This includes Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms, Larry Ellison, executive chairman of Oracle Corporation, and Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA. A White House official revealed that the President's Science and Technology Advisory Committee will be co-chaired by David Sax, who previously served as the White House AI and cryptocurrency director, and another technology advisor, Michael Kratsios. The official stated that Trump plans to announce the first batch of 13 industry advisory committee members on Wednesday, including Google co-founder Sergey Brin. According to an executive order, the committee will ultimately consist of 24 members. Zuckerberg stated, "The United States has the opportunity to lead global artificial intelligence development. I am honored to join the President's Advisory Committee and work with other industry leaders to achieve this goal."
