Swedish Ambassador to China Ousi Cheng attended the meeting. Ling Ji pointed out that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China will promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, creating new consumer markets. He hoped that the Swedish business community would firmly invest in China and share cooperation opportunities in advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, biopharmaceuticals, energy conservation and emission reduction, among other areas. Ling Ji stated that the current international situation is complex and volatile, with increased instability and uncertainty. Although the China-EU economic and trade relations face challenges, they are also full of opportunities. He hoped that the Swedish business community would play an active role in promoting a rational view of Sino-European competitive-cooperative relations, handling economic and trade frictions properly, leveraging their respective strengths, further deepening mutual beneficial cooperation, and finding the correct way for China and Europe to coexist. Valenborg stated that Sweden was the first Western country to establish diplomatic relations with New China, and since then, the two countries have maintained a tradition of mutually beneficial cooperation and friendly exchanges. The Swedish side is willing to actively seize the opportunities brought by China's high-quality economic development for the world, and promote the stable and healthy development of EU-China economic and trade relations.
