Ministry of Commerce: Five Directions to Promote the Agglomeration and Development of Time-Honored Brands
Journalists learned from the Ministry of Commerce that the Ministry of Commerce is carrying out pilot projects for the aggregation and development of time-honored brands, promoting the convergence of time-honored brands in five major directions including products, brands, culture, industries, and going global to better meet the needs of the people for a better life. In terms of brands, relying on various carriers such as pedestrian streets, specialty commercial districts, industrial parks, and online platforms, efforts are being made to create a number of flagship stores, headquarters bases, and brand spaces for time-honored brands; in terms of industries, focusing on the relatively concentrated industries of food, catering, traditional Chinese medicine, and arts and crafts, efforts are being made to cultivate a number of time-honored industry clusters with industry driving force and international competitiveness; in terms of going global, integrating cross-border service agencies, linking overseas service platforms to build a multi-party collaborative mechanism for the internationalization of time-honored brands, and helping time-honored brands achieve sustainable development from "going out" to "blending in".
