On March 20, Tong Jian, the secretary of the Communist Party Committee and chairman of Guotong Trust, unexpectedly passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 55. Tong Jian had only recently taken on the role of chairman of Guotong Trust. On December 26 of last year, the Hubei Financial Regulatory Bureau approved Tong Jian's qualifications as director and chairman of Guotong Trust.
