Venezuelan Foreign Minister Arreaza said on the 5th that Venezuela and the U.S. government have decided to restore diplomatic and consular relations through diplomatic dialogue. The U.S. Department of State issued a statement on the same day, saying that the U.S. and Venezuelan governments have agreed to restore diplomatic and consular relations.
