On March 22, 2026, Minister of Finance, Lan Fo'an, met with Anna Bieyd, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the World Bank, who was in China to attend the China Development Forum. They exchanged views on cooperation between China and the World Bank. Vice Minister of Finance, Liao Min, also attended the meeting.
