The first national industry standard for intelligent construction robots in China was launched in Chengdu.
On March 24th, the first "Industry Standard for Embodied Intelligent Engineering Robots" in China was launched in Chengdu, Sichuan. It is expected that this industry standard will be completed and released within this year, filling the gap in the intelligent engineering robot industry, establishing unified standards for product technology assessment, safety regulations, and large-scale application, and promoting the industry's transition from "technology research and development" to "rule formulation". At the event, the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center also unveiled the world's first large-scale model of an embodied intelligent engineering robot with multimodal capabilities. This model has overcome the challenge of efficient coordination and scheduling among multiple machines on engineering sites, possessing core advantages such as multi-machine collaboration, multi-source data analysis, autonomous intelligent decision-making, etc., achieving a leap from "perception intelligence" to "system decision intelligence". It can provide core "brain" support for multiple robot clusters operating on engineering sites, representing a significant breakthrough in the engineering application of embodied intelligent technology. This also signifies a key step for China in transitioning from technical challenges to industrial application in solving problems related to intelligent construction and maintenance in high-altitude and extreme environments.
