Chengdu introduces new housing provident fund policy, maximum loan amount increased to 1.2 million yuan.

On March 24th, the Chengdu Housing Provident Fund Management Center held a news conference to announce new policies in order to further boost housing consumption, better meet the rigid and improved housing needs of depositors, promote the stable and healthy development of the real estate market. Chengdu city issued a series of policy measures including the "Notice on Further Optimizing the Housing Provident Fund Policies", "Notice on Further Supporting Housing Consumption", "Notice on Further Optimizing the Withdrawal of Housing Provident Fund for Major Illnesses", and "Notice on Adjusting the Policies of Housing Provident Fund Loans". The maximum loan amount for individuals has been increased from 60,000 RMB to 80,000 RMB for single depositors, and from 100,000 RMB to 120,000 RMB for dual depositors.
