Wang Yanqing, Director of the Information Technology Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated at the meeting that this year's launch of the industrial data foundation action is to carry out the pioneering work in the construction of high-quality industry data sets. Wang Yanqing said: "Next, in order to do a good job in the pioneering work, we need to continue to do three aspects of work: first, strengthen support and guarantee. We need to cooperate with local industry and information departments as well as data management departments, provide resources guarantees and guidance support for the pioneering work alliance, timely follow up and solve problems, gather experience, and accelerate the formation of results that can be promoted. Second, strengthen policy guidance. We need to promote the issuance of policy documents enabling data elements for new industrialization, issue guidelines for the application of industrial scenario data elements, strengthen the guidance of development and the promotion of models. Third, cultivate a good ecosystem. Accelerate the development of industrial data standards, develop and grow data consulting, data governance, data labeling and other data service companies, support the organization of a number of technical seminars, supply and demand matchmaking meetings, and at the same time, strengthen and improve the artificial intelligence open source community, and create a high-quality open data resource gathering place. Especially at the upcoming summit this year, a special conference on enabling new industrialization with data elements will be held, and a competition for enabling new industrialization with data elements in 2026 will be launched."
