Luo Wen meets with the President of the US-China Business Council, Tan Sen.
On March 23, Luo Wen, Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, met with Tan Sen, Chairman of the US-China Business Council, and their member companies in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as the construction of a unified national market, anti-monopoly policies, special equipment, and food safety supervision. Luo Wen stated that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China will solidly promote high-quality development, steadfastly expand high-level opening-up, and continuously unleash the potential of its super-large market. The State Administration for Market Regulation will actively play its functional role, continuously optimize the business environment, and provide service guarantees for enterprises from all countries, including American enterprises, investing and operating in China. Tan Sen stated that the US-China Business Council will continue to support its member companies for long-term development in China and play a constructive role in expanding US-China economic and trade cooperation. The relevant leaders of the State Administration for Market Regulation participated in the meeting.
