Rabobank expects the average price of Brent crude oil to be $107 per barrel in the second quarter.

Dutch bank ABN Amro has raised its oil price forecast, stating that the average price of Brent crude in the second quarter is expected to be $107 per barrel. The company's analysts said, "We expect the full closure of the Strait of Hormuz to continue until the end of April." They added, "After that, shipping will only slowly recover, and we expect that by August, the supply of crude and refined oil will return to around 80% of pre-war levels." The international oil benchmark had previously forecast a price of $96 per barrel in the second quarter. According to ABN Amro's forecast, the price of Brent crude is expected to fall to $96 per barrel in the third quarter and $90 per barrel in the fourth quarter.
