India initiates first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on sodium sulfite from China and Vietnam.

On March 20, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that in response to applications submitted by domestic Indian companies, the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on sodium metabisulfite originating from or imported from China has been initiated. This case involves products under Indian customs codes 28311010 and 28321020. The dumping investigation period is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, and the injury investigation periods are from 2022 to 2023, 2023 to 2024, 2024 to 2025, and October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025.
