The 2026 Annual Meeting of the China Development High-level Forum kicked off in Beijing yesterday. During the meeting, officials from the National Energy Administration stated that China will adhere to the development of multiple energies and build a secure and resilient energy system. Vice Director of the National Energy Administration Wan Jinsong said, "During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, China will actively promote the development of diverse clean energies such as wind power, photovoltaic, nuclear energy, and biomass energy, while ensuring the continuous and stable supply of energy. This will form a new energy system with multiple complementary energies and strong risk resistance capabilities. At the same time, efforts will be made to promote the deep integration of energy revolution and digital revolution.
