The announcement released on Monday showed that Korea Electric Power Corporation will maintain the fuel adjustment surcharge unchanged in the second quarter, meaning that electricity prices will essentially be frozen during the period of April to June. The company will keep the fuel adjustment surcharge at the first quarter level, which is +5 Korean Won per kilowatt-hour.
