Regarding the impact of the US-Iran conflict, Shuangxin Materials recently stated during a research study at an institution that the price of the core material ethylene has increased, driving up prices of ethylene acetate, PVA, and other related products. The company has a production capacity of 130,000 tons of PVA using the acetylene method with ample raw material supply and stable prices. The price difference has widened, which has a positive impact on the company's performance. Overseas PVA production capacity mainly relies on petroleum ethylene method, which is greatly affected by ethylene supply and prices. The demand for Chinese PVA exports is expected to increase.
