The Xidian University team has made a breakthrough in the field of manufacturing heterojunction fiber electronic devices.
Reporters learned from Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology on the 22nd that Professor Baohong and Associate Professor Zhou Yunlei of the Hangzhou Research Institute of the university's team have made a breakthrough in the field of heterogeneous fiber electronic device manufacturing. They have proposed a scalable continuous liquid-phase processing technology, achieving the integrated integration of multiple functional materials on a single fiber. The platform has currently verified its feasibility in peripheral nerve regulation and is expected to expand to the forefront of biomedical electronics such as brain-machine interfaces, spinal cord stimulation, and wearable health monitoring in the future. It also shows broad application potential in emerging directions such as intelligent soft systems.
