Russian President's press secretary: Assassinating Iranian leaders will have "extremely serious consequences"
Russian President's press secretary Peskov said on the 22nd that the assassination of Iranian leaders "has already and will continue to have extremely serious consequences." Peskov said in an interview with the host Zarubin of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company on that day that the ultimate goal of the current war against Iran is to overthrow the Iranian government, "but every such action only serves to unite the Iranian people more in support of their leadership."
