The world's first set of low-temperature and low-pressure carbon dioxide polyether production unit with an annual output of 80,000 tons has been put into operation.

On the morning of March 22, the world's first industrialized unit for the low-temperature and low-pressure preparation of 80,000 tons of polyether with carbon dioxide was officially put into operation at the Lianyungang Petrochemical Industry Base in the National Central and Western Development Cooperation Demonstration Zone. The total investment of this project is about 6 billion yuan, covering an area of approximately 659 acres. It is being constructed in phases, with a planned total annual capacity of 1.06 million tons of carbon dioxide polyether. The 80,000-ton carbon dioxide polyether unit put into operation this time is a core achievement of Changhua Chemical relying on cross-border technological collaboration and dual-driven innovation.
