The Pentagon plans to accelerate the construction of artificial intelligence decision-making capabilities, and to establish it as the core of the concept of interconnection between sensors and firepower units in combat operations. Steve Van Buren, Deputy Secretary of Defense, stated in a memorandum that Palantir Technologies' Maven Intelligence System will be established as an officially funded project, providing necessary stable funding and resource support for system development, integration, and commander command operations to win wars. The U.S. military has currently deployed the Maven Digital Mission Control Platform in all theaters of operation. This system can generate digital battlefield maps, assist in identifying and selecting targets, and match targets with weapon systems.
