The maintenance of Dafengxia ship lock is completed, and the entire Xijiang River main line in Guangxi has resumed navigation.

On the evening of March 20th, the first batch of waiting ships smoothly and safely sailed out of the Datengxia ship lock, marking the completion of the annual maintenance of the Datengxia ship lock. The unified maintenance of most ship locks on the Xijiang Main Line for the year 2026 started on March 1st and will last for 10 to 20 days. Prior to this, other ship locks such as Yongning, Laokou, and Honghua on the Xijiang Main Line had already completed their maintenance and resumed navigation one after another. As the last hub ship lock to resume navigation in this maintenance cycle, the successful resumption of navigation of the Datengxia ship lock signifies the full resumption of navigation along the Xijiang Main Line in Guangxi.
