An accident involving a boat near the Comoros has resulted in the deaths of 17 people.

On March 19th local time, Comoros Minister of the Interior, Mohamed Ahmada Assoumani, stated that a ship had an accident in the waters near Comoros. The ship was carrying a total of 51 people, with 30 people successfully rescued, 17 confirmed dead, and 4 missing. Currently, the survivors have been taken to the hospital, and the coast guard is still continuing search and rescue operations.
