Institutions: TSMC and Samsung Foundry have increased prices for 5/4nm main processes.

TrendForce indicates that the two major semiconductor foundries, TSMC and Samsung Electronics, have raised prices for their advanced process nodes of 5/4nm for AI chips. TSMC's 5/4nm, 3nm, and 2nm production capacities will continue to be fully loaded, and the foundry prices for these processes have been raised across the board. On the other hand, Samsung's foundry business has seen a significant increase in orders for the 5/4nm node, leading them to issue a price hike notice to customers for the fourth quarter of 2025.
