Two commercial ships were attacked in the waters near the United Arab Emirates.

According to a statement released by the British maritime security company Ambrey on the 19th local time, a merchant ship reported an explosion approximately 4 to 5 nautical miles ahead of it while sailing in waters about 40.2 nautical miles northwest of the Port of Abu Dhabi in the UAE. On the same day, the company also reported that another merchant ship was abandoned after being hit by an unidentified flying object about 11 nautical miles east of Fujairah in the UAE. As of now, there have been no reports of casualties in either attack.
