The latest data from Xinjiang Power Trading Center Co., Ltd. shows that as of the 18th, since the implementation of outbound power transmission in Xinjiang in 2010, the cumulative outbound new energy electricity has reached 304.36 billion kilowatt hours. Song Xueqiang, director of the trading department of Xinjiang Power Trading Center Co., Ltd., said that according to calculations, the 304.36 billion kilowatt-hours of new energy electricity is equivalent to saving about 92 million tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 2.49 billion tons, and planting green trees equivalent to over 11 billion. At the same time, Xinjiang's green power continues to fill the power gap in the eastern and central regions, helping to ensure reliable power supply for enterprise production and household electricity.
