Huanghai Shipbuilding had a fruitful harvest in the feeder container ship market, after announcing up to 18 new ships, the shipyard once again gained favor from Greek shipowners and received a bulk shipbuilding project. Shipbrokers and market sources revealed that Greek shipowner Cosmoship Management has placed an order with Huanghai Shipbuilding to build 8 1800TEU container ships, expected to be delivered between 2027 and 2028, with the new ship prices not yet disclosed. Referring to Huanghai Shipbuilding's previous order for 1800TEU container ships, the cost of one ship is around $30 million.
