The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and two other departments convened a symposium for companies in the new energy vehicle industry.

On March 17, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly held a symposium with enterprises in the new energy vehicle industry, deploying key tasks such as further regulating the competition order of the new energy vehicle industry, enhancing industry innovation capabilities, expanding automobile consumption, and optimizing industry management. The meeting emphasized the need to consolidate and deepen the effectiveness of regulating the industrial competition order, strengthen price monitoring and cost investigations, study and standardize automobile finance policies, and regularly and effectively crack down on the chaos in the industry network, urging companies to strictly adhere to the 60-day payment period commitment. They will implement a new round of high-quality development actions in key industrial chains, accelerate the filling of gaps in automotive chips, basic software, and other areas, promote scale expansion, and iteratively improve quality and performance; accelerate breakthroughs in autonomous driving technology, optimize entry pilot processes, and expedite the formulation of relevant standards to create favorable conditions for large-scale production.
