Joe Kent discusses why Israel needs US involvement in wars.

Recently resigned former director of the US National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent said in an interview: "I believe that Israel has the ability to defend itself. I think it can make limited strikes on the border. I think it can continue to conduct quite effective targeted killings against hostile forces. But what it cannot do is overthrow the entire government. It cannot do things like the wars in Iran or Iraq. It cannot actively destabilize Syria. The large-scale regime change operations that the United States has been conducting, Israel cannot accomplish alone. That is why Israeli lobbying groups are so powerful, influential, and aggressive."
