The reporter learned from China Railway Beijing Group Co., Ltd. that around 17:00 on March 18, there was a sudden contact net failure between Chengde County North Station and Niuhe Liang Station on the Beijing-Harbin high-speed railway, leading to the G178 passenger train being stranded in the section and temporarily without power supply. At 19:22, the emergency relief train and personnel arranged by the railway department arrived at the faulty section and began to organize the transfer of passengers from the G178 to the relief train.
