The head of Norway's sovereign wealth fund has issued a new warning that European capital markets are facing a crisis, and swift action must be taken to repair them. Nicolai Tangen, CEO of Norway's Bank Investment Management, said on Tuesday that Europe "must act quickly" on capital market integration. "In the capital markets, we really need to step up, the winners will take it all. Money always flows to the markets with the strongest liquidity and highest valuations, so solving this issue is crucial," he said. One of the measures Europe can take, in his opinion, is better utilization of AI. He said, "In terms of technological diffusion, Europe has actually shown some positive signs."
