Audi's global CEO denies merger of Audi North and South.

Recently, there have been rumors in the market that SAIC Audi will be merged into FAW Audi in the future. Regarding whether Audi's northern and southern branches will merge, Audi's global CEO Markus Duesmann stated that the current cooperation model with both partners has been greatly beneficial to Audi, and they will adhere to the current strategy of collaboration with two partners. Audi's cooperation with SAIC currently focuses on advancing the development of the Audi brand. The first product E5 Sportback will be launched in the second half of 2025, E7X will be launched this year, and another model will be launched next year. Audi's cooperation with FAW mainly focuses on the product lineup of FAW Audi, launching pure electric products based on the PPE platform and expanding the product range for fuel vehicles based on the PPC platform. In the future, Audi will introduce more features tailored for the Chinese market, including cooperation with Huawei, and will continue to maintain open collaborations with innovative Chinese companies.
