Journalists have learned that Kimi, the dark side of the moon, has released a technical report, re-designing the core structure residual connection row of large models that has not changed in ten years. This redesign allows each layer to selectively focus on the outputs of previous layers, rather than a unified summation. The training efficiency of the 48B model has increased by 1.25 times, which is interpreted by the industry as an early preview of the key modules of the next generation of models.
