National Bureau of Statistics: In the January-February period, automobile production was 4.024 million vehicles, a decrease of 9.9% year-on-year.

In January and February, out of 626 industrial products of scale, the production of 397 products increased year-on-year. Among them, steel production was 221.19 million tons, a decrease of 1.1% year-on-year; cement production was 178.27 million tons, an increase of 6.8%; production of ten non-ferrous metals was 13.42 million tons, an increase of 3.9%; ethylene production was 6.6 million tons, an increase of 5.1%; automobile production was 4.024 million vehicles, a decrease of 9.9%, with new energy vehicles at 1.604 million vehicles, a decrease of 13.7%; electricity generation was 1.5718 trillion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 4.1%; and crude oil processing was 122.63 million tons, an increase of 2.9%.
