Diatom microrobot accurately "snipes" brain gliomas

Precise treatment of glioblastoma may have a new weapon. It has been learned from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences that the robotics research team in the institute, in collaboration with the Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University, has successfully developed a diatom microrobot for the treatment of glioblastoma. The relevant research results have been published online in the international academic journal "Biological Design and Manufacturing".
